I’ve heard some people say recently that the motovlogging community is dying. It’s had its turn, past its peak, the end is nigh… so I’m gonna ask you, do you think it is?
I don’t and here’s why…. motovlogging is getting bigger everyday, we’ve got USA motovloggers almost reaching the 1million subscribers post. Think about that, 1 million people on one channel, just think about a stadium full of people. A typical football (English) stadium can be about 60,000 people average.
So do me a favour and go look at what 60k people looks like on YouTube, just search football stadium crowd or something like that, then times that by 16 and you now get the idea. 16 full 60,000 capacity football stadiums. That’s un-fucking-believable it’s a massive amount of people it’s practically a fucking country… in fact that’s more than the population of 79 recognised countries have in the entire world, on just one channel. And there’s multiple channels that will pass 1m within the next year.
You telling me it’s dying? You sure?
You’re the one that’s dead in the head if you think this shit is anywhere but done. Pull your head outta your ass and wake the fuck up. Yes people are coming and going and yes although I’ve seen 200 motovloggers come and go in the past year alone… we’re still fucking here and growing all the time.
Motovlogging isn’t past it, we’re right in the peak we’re riding the wave up to the top and you better get the fuck on board or drown in our wake.
I’ve said it before if you’re bored of making it, reinvent. If you’re bored of watching people doing the same thing, explore. Redefine who the fuck you are, the value you bring, stand the fuck up and out of the crowd. Be the black sheep, the ugly ducking, the one that goes left when everyone is going right.
The way to stand out on YouTube is to be you, the unique fucker that you are. Embrace it, show yourself off and rise the fuck up. We’re a niche on YouTube at the moment but who says we won’t be as mainstream as life vloggers or gamers in the future?
We’re way fucking cooler than any of those self obsessed arseholes, we have bikes and we do fun fucking stuff… well not me but you other beautiful bastards do. We’re the future. Lets make it fucking happen.
